Quick and simple question, is the HiFiBerry Digi+ Pro a worthwhile step up from the HiFiBerry Digi+ Standard? I'm more curious than anything at this stage and I'm wondering if the quoted " dual low-jitter clock" makes much of a difference. No, I am not up for the cost of a DigiOne Signature before it's even suggested, Martin.

The HiFiBerry Digi+ Pro was certainly a good step up from the Digi+ and is well worth the purchase. It sits in between the Digi+ and an Allo DigiOne in performance terms, Paul.

Thanks, Martin, that's pretty much the answer I was expecting.

It's a worthwhile step up Paul. I believe that, when I got mine, I PM'ed Martin in a very shouty font size and all caps to tell him that he had to get one for himself! It's what I'm still using at the moment.

...and indeed I did. I also remember (somewhat less shouty) saying something similar about the DigiOne some time later!

If you have a Hifiberry digi and set it to the Pro in Volumio you can get a weird effect where everything sounds as if it's played at high speed. That didn't help much did it

I'm now listening to Pinky and Perky singing "Help" when it says "Beatles" on the label. Wouldn't this be a wonderful thing to do to someone you don't like very much?

Digi+ Pro ordered. I couldn't argue with the Pi Hut price. It's about a quid more than I paid for the bog-standard version on Amazon.

Good stuff, Paul. Hopefully you'll find the difference easily noticeable.

Digi+ Pro arrived this morning, replaced the standard model with no drama/trauma and it's sounding rather nice. Well worth doing. So, it's January 2 nd and that's the first thirty-odd quid of the 'nothing' I'm going to spend on hi-fi bits and bobs this year.

Think of it in terms of % of something large like the national debt and you'll be fine.

Demand Mexico pays for it I thought I'd made it plane that Mexico was alreddy paying for the wall Digi+ Pro due to the new trade agreement I have with them and Canadia. I will still need the money from Congress to fund the Digi+ Pro which is already bought, and fitted in mi sistem.
