What is your favourite TAS Album Choice of 2018?
I have added a poll to this thread to give you a chance to vote for your favourite.
If you have time, it might also be nice for you to reply to this thread with a post containing your top three favourites.
Please could we have all votes in by Sunday 6th January 2019, after which we will announce the winner.
You can’t vote for your own Album Choice submission.
Please only vote for your favourite album on the poll.
Happy voting.

I've voted for Ian McNabb as my first place choice. The main reason is that it's the only album I've actually bought after hearing it here, which is a bit of a cheat as I already owned ten of this year's offerings, but let's just say it's the best " new to me" album this year. Second place goes to Robin Trower because it's a sometimes underrated classic album, and I've owned and enjoyed it since it came out. Third place, my own choice of Tangerine Dream, purely for its originality when placed against pretty much everything else they've ever recorded, and the Marmite responses it provoked.

I’m going choose Alt-J. I am a great fan of theirs and as a first album, it is quite special. My second choice would be Def Leppard - Yeah! obviously, as I chose it My third choice would probably be Tangerine Dream, I usually am not a fan of theirs at all, so was pleasantly surprised how much I liked Paul's choice.

Tangerine Dream because of all of the album choices of 2018, this is the one I still hear a few tracks from the most often.
For me runner up was Jonas Hellsborg - Temporal Analogues of Paradise. Still spinning this one quite a bit as well.

It's the Tangerine Dream for me. Despite their being covers, there are all the essential elements of their signature sound which still does it for me.

We currently have a draw between Slinger's choice of Tangerine Dream and MartinT's choice of Black Sabbath, but can one of them edge ahead before the closure date? or will it be another choice which inches ahead at the checked flag?

I'll be tipping the balance with the Sabbath album then! The Neil Young / Promise of the Real album would have been my second choice and Horslips third.
