You already have long interconnects. You'd need a shortish toslink from the TV to the DAC.

Optical digital-out on the telly to the optical-in on the DAC Bloody great long phono lead from the DAC to your amp.

Good move Chris. I think you might like what it does and there's no bit outlay lost if it turns out to be a lemon. I bought one just to see what you could get for a fiver - I didn't need a new dac at all! The result gave me a bit of a shock.

Well that's it all set up. Using the 5m lead from headphone socket to amp was quite good. Added in the £5 DAC and there's not a BIG difference but there is definitely £5 worth of a difference. Seems to be a bit sharper and crisper.

Changed this about. Took the dac thingy away as it was producing a very quiet signal.
Just changed back to the headphone socket to amp choice.
