I'm a whole eighth Scottish. So a fractional clan member. More of a mongrel really. English (several fractions) , Spanish, French, Irish and Scottish. Well nobody's perfect!

Another interesting day Mouth really not good in at least 2 places so it's off to my gum specialist.
Coming off the M25, waiting at the lights to go onto the A3 I see a police car hammering through all light flashing - interesting - and off he goes down the A3.
Lights change and I'm onto the A3, off we go, oh no we dont. Police car is going down the middle lane at about 45mph and we are piling up behind. Not done this before. Wonder what's going on ?, accident maybe. Will I make it to the dentist on time ? We go a few miles. Ah here it is. That looks bad. Other side there are some crumpled cars and it is possible one of them came from this side, over the not that good central barrier. One lane in use on the other side, from 3 so the traffic is backed up, and backed up, wow, almost to Guildford. So much traffic at 3pm. Into the dentist with time to spare. Explain the problem. He explains this may hurt. Oh yes this hurts, where 10/10 is passing out from the pain I'm up to around 8 or 9 as he digs around. Checks the other, right side. I caused that trauma by avoiding the left side ! Pain meter goes up to 8 or 9 again Sit up. I feel battered but *so* much better. It's almost magical. I was suffering far more than I know with some 'below the threshold' pain I assume. Wow I feel good. Interesting - I've never had that sort of feeling before. Out of the dentist, back onto the A3 going North. Traffic slows coming past the Hogs Back, before Guildford, almost stationary. That must be the accident *miles* up the road. Never seen this before and I assume I know what the problem is. Manage to pull off and avoid, useful knowing Guildford quite well. Minor disruption to my day. Bigger for all the people in the queue going North and it's still only 4pm. Assume that accident was a big one. Let's hope everyone survived intact

Glad to hear yer gobs better mikemusic. Not so great about the accident. My laddie was in for a sore tooth out. Thought the tooth was arsed but it wasn't - turns out it was just MASSIVE! To get it out the dentist was on top of the poor lad and had to put in some serious effort. Picked him up and he was fucked. Sore and still full of local and morphine. Dropped him off at his burds house with sleeping to do,but got a call about 8hrs later saying how sore he was. All I could do was reassure him it'll ease up. I feel for your pain entirely and I'm glad it's getting better for ya.

Funny thing
It wasn't evident pain most of the time - and I'm a wimp !
There was something going on under the pain threshold making me feel 'wrong' and not with it
I know about dental pain having had some serious stuff where I thought I was on 10/10 and could pass out. Ibuprofen works very well for me and should be dead good for dental as it works on the pain and the inflammation. Took one last night before kip and the next thing I know it's 4am and I need a pee. Alarm at 4.30 so not bad timing
