They are predicting a cold winter so I thought I'd better get some extra heating in! It's still bedding in and will need the bias checking / adjusting in a few more hours, but so far it's sounding very good, especially with acoustic bass etc. It's being fed by an Onix OA24 / SOAP at the moment using a FLAC 88.2 version of "Time Out" by The Dave Brubeck Quartet from a Synology NAS through the NDX via an Aqvox Switch, but I will probably bring my Allegri+ over from the UK to use with it. It is feeding bi-wired Royd Apex speakers at the moment. I'll try it with the Arcs at some point though and I need a slightly larger support for as it will be on a Townshend platform eventually.

How is the bass through those KT150s?

Probably a bit too early to say. Very rounded would be a good description at the moment and that works well with the acoustic stuff I've been playing through it. Not as tight as the Onix that is for sure although possibly more extended, but seems to give a good balance to the digital source. I have a feeling that all analogue might be too much though. One it's settled in a bit more I'll try it in linear mode.

Still can't believe it only sells for £2k seems like a bit of a bargain! Plus the DAC they make is under £2k as well and utterly stunning.
