For the next few days I'll be using my tiny Sansa Clip+ with Sony in-ear phones. Remarkably good sound quality with 320kbps mp3 files.

I use my Sansa Clip+ every single day when I go out walking, wouldn't be without it and helps me keep up with the weeks two Bob Harris shows which I record and play on the Sansa I use SoundMAGIC E10 ear buds.

...but clearly you must keep finding it! It went 'missing' for two years after a holiday in Tenerife, assumed I'd left it there but it turned up deep in one of the zip up suitcase pockets (& I'm not quite sure where it is now)

Should I ever want something like that I'll go and get one
The Isobariks are perfect of course but tend not to fit on shoulders easily

Tim - how do you get on with the E10s? I've heard they're quite good.
Sorry mikemusic but not similar to MartinTs. She's got a wee Phillips which is similar but her iphone has taken over its duties now. Not killing yerself is always a good reason to celebrate and blow a few quid!

Tim - how do you get on with the E10s? I've heard they're quite good. Very good Chris, they did seem a tad bright when I first got them, but the Sansa has an equalizer so they are perfect for it. I had some Ultimate Ears which cost nearly 5 times the price of the E10 and they broke after very little use, despite me being very, very careful with them. The E10 has been abused daily for years now and has not let me down, the cable it very easy to untangle too, as its quite slick and slippery. They fit my ears well and have different sized silicone fittings for large/small ear sizes. Put it this way, if they failed I would buy another pair as I think for the money they are hard to beat for both durability and sound quality and I have had a lot of different ear buds over the years

Martin, can you get the MX Player app for Windows Mobile? I tried a few video player apps before trying it all were a waste of time. Using the MX app I found the sound quality of videos I had downloaded with my mobile using TubeMate was really quite stonking! I downloaded Chris Rea's Soft Top Hard Shoulder - and couldn't stop listening to it. The sound quality of some videos can be very good. You can use the app to play your mp3 files too.

I presume you mean Windows Phone as Windows Mobile is obsolete? There's an MX Player for WP, by Masuk Sarker Batista, is that the one you mean? I may try it, but the Sansa would take a lot of beating for portable music.
I may try Tim's E10 recommendation when I'm back home.

Sorry. I was meaning for use with a Windows phone.
I can only go by what I hear with my Motorola Atrix 4 and Aiwa HP-V151s. At times I just marvel at what is possible.

Ok, I'll download that app when I return and give it a try. Plenty of CPU power in the Nokia 930 so it should perform well.
