I use Wireworld Starlight and I think it is excellent. Someone else (on another forum, I think) followed my reccie for this and they were very pleased with the sound.

Because others spoke of amazing things with USB cables I tried Supra, WireWorld, Maplins and HP Printer freebie. Not a hint of difference. I keep meaning to sell the Supra and WireWorld.

You can't beat a good quality cable from a well-known company, e.g. Belkin

Here is my take on USB cables. Yes they can make a difference, but I kind of wish they didn't At some point I probably get Audioquest Diamonds

I’ve been around the block with USB cables; from cheap no brands, to various Furutechs, Curious USB, tellurium q, Ifi etc etc and i confidently state that The Mad Scientist audio Black Magic is the best of the bunch. It allowed me to hear what my Coherent 6d loom is capable of; prior to that the Coherents were held back.
Not bad for a relatively inexpensive cable. Bob is a top guy to deal with as well, he understands customer service, answers all questions himself and made custom stuff for my slightly unusual set up.

Although I haven't tried them, the Black Cat Silverstar USB cable can be found on eBay. It's designed to the same principles as my 75 S/PDIF cable and should sound very good, coming from that stable.

I had my suspicions. Just have two cables and connect as needed. Sometimes the simplest solutions are the best.

That's why I suggested that better and more expensive versions exist in my original reply.
