Very tidy! What's the arm on the Technics?

I recognise those speakers, think I have seen them at shows before. The 4's are the smallest of the range I think

It's an Audiomods Series V Micrometer Thanks, not an arm I've ever come across. Your Technics is about as individual as mine!

Those Model 8's look fantastic. I'd love to give some of the higher one's in the range a try.
Thanks, the Audiomod's arm works really well with the Music Maker and AT150MLX I had previously also suited it. TBH I did find it tricky to initially get right and at times I did think would I have been better off with sticking an SME on the 1210. Glad I stuck with it though.

Do you find the Audiomods superior sound-wise to other arms you've owned?

The other arms haven't been in the same ballpark really. An RB300 on a Planar 3, an Origin Live modded RB300 on a Funk Firm Vector and then the original Technic's arm that was re-wired by J7 @ Audio Origami.

Yes I'd expect the Audiomods to trash those arms!

The Michell TecnoArm, also based on the Rega, was a pretty good performer for me.

I thought it was good too Martin, until I changed to a Mission 774.

That’s them, I heard them at Bristol a couple of years back and they were excellent. Might have been in the MCRU room, David’s used a pair at several shows.

That's interesting MCRU are relatively local to me and I've been considering if one of the external power supplies for the 1210 would be worth it.

I bought one of Nick’s regenerator power supplies for my 401, made a real improvement. I’ve also got several of his linear power supplies for various kit and they have always made a positive difference to SQ so I’d say it’s well worthwhile.

Cool, it's one of those bits that's been on the to-do forever just never got around to it.
