Quick intro, I'm Liam, I've been buying HiFi equipment as long as I've been seriously into buying music and going to see bands so from around the age of 12. First system I put together was Sony CD-PM79 from Curry's and a NAD 3020i and JPW Mini Monitors from Richer Sounds. Music wise it's 80's to present Punk/Hardcore with some soundtracks i.e. John Carpenter movies, mainstream pop and a bit of metal.

Thanks, that's an interesting sounding combination you have there. I'm sure we would all like to see some photos, especially of the speakers!

What did you think of the Jungson?
Always looked an interesting amp to me.

I only dropped on it when I was looking to buy a new CD player. I'd seen the Inca Tech (branded) Katana in HiFi News at the time and did some Googling which led me to Jungson as OEM. So I took a punt on a Moon Harbour CD player and the J88D. I think they later did different versions but when I bought it was one version with bling nor non bling chassis. At the time fantastic value for money and sounded big bold and lush. There was a locally based Chi-Fi supplier who did the arrangements and got me them, later I also tried the Dussun phono stage which was the OEM for the Red Rose music one.
And I forgot they also got me a monster Shanling CD-300 CD player.

Cheers Mike and Jules..
The Larsen's were another try on a whim. I'd read about them on Steve Hoffman and pre-owned pair came up at a good price. I too like the thinking behind these, their predecessors and others of this variety. After nothing but point and squirt speakers up to this point the difference was kinda off putting but I found I was enjoying the tunes and just relaxing more.
