Well, I certainly enjoyed the Bach and Chopin from that Argerich recital

I know Nigel brings strong opinions but this rather beautiful its from the film Underground which is a crazy but interesting film. Nigel brings his own interpretation to it

Pappano rocking out with his new crew, the LSO. A potent combo on first listening to RVW 4.
I liked John's Star Wars reference, it feels very apt.

Gently atmospheric, I think John would like this

"Fermi's Paradox" by Carolyn Surrick & Ronn McFarlane as a 24/192 stream from Qobus transcoded to 24/96 using BubbleUPnp to a Naim NDX/Lab12 DAC. I'd read a favourable review in HI-FI News (and Record Review) afteer being intrigued by the title. I may have to explore further as I'm enjoying it! ronnmcfarlane.com/music/discography/fermis-paradox/

Rather special - Jacqueline du Pre's Proms debut in 1962, in Elgar's cello concerto from a radio broadcast on the BBC Home Service.
Mono and less than stellar sound quality, but that's soon forgotten.

Have just started investigating the symphonies of Lukas Foss. Interesting and approachable so far.

Rubbra symphonies. The 3rd especially is superb. But not the 9th. Never again the 9th
