If you need two different output voltages, I would ask them before purchasing just to be certain.

If you need two different output voltages, I would ask them before purchasing just to be certain. The power supply would be for my router and the little box that converts the incoming fibre to a cat 6 feeding the router. Not sure if either of these warrant a lps really. I’ll probably need to look into a decent streamer too as I’m just using Spotify on my sky Q box at the moment, but the sound is surprisingly good.

Not sure if either of these warrant a lps really. Yes, they do. Every component in the digital chain needs a good PSU with minimal noise. You won't regret it.

My nightmare with Sky Q was its wilful insistence on generating its own wi-fi between the main and auxiliary boxes, which constantly upset my main wi-fi mesh system. It was so irritating and crashed so often that I jacked it in in disgust and sent the boxes back. POS design. Never had a wi-fi issue after that.

Luckily I only have the one Q box, wired into the router. I might start a thread for help on what’s needed to stream to my Dac. It can be connected to the network and operated via an app in conjunction with a PC, but I’m clueless on the whole streaming side of things, only just making the move from CD.

Ha - I had a similar experience moving to Spotify from vinyl! Some of the older stuff just doesn't sound 'authentic' on Spotify but I've come to accept that nothing is perfect and the many plus points of streaming outweigh the negatives. Also, in the general scheme of things it's still in its infancy. As much as I loved vinyl, I couldn't live with it ...

A few friends are into their Hifi and all into Vinyl and all have Kef speakers.

I happened to listen to some of Queen's music and the Qobuz remastered / hi-res versions were actually listenable! Gone were the poor dynamics of the original recordings, be it CD or vinyl. Can't say the same for Pink Floyd though. They may have added some deep bass and it's generally a bit more interesting than the oldy woldy original, but I find the dynamics of say Animals are still well below modern par, to me. In general I much prefer the modern sound and remastered, remixed. The instant access to them that Qobuz provides is great.

Would it be a possibility to buy a single lps, and use a splitter cable to feed both?

Would it be a possibility to buy a single lps, and use a splitter to cable to feed both? Possible - yes. However, you risk bridging isolation and connecting ground planes together in a bad way.

Received a nice new (to me) Gustard A22 Dac on Friday. Black. With SR Purple fuse. Had Tony at Coherent sprinkle his magic on it. . Tony said it was an adult Beresford SEG (which I really like). Have it playing with the Tara Labs Cascade burn in track. Have 50 hours on it, and it's settling nicely.
Listened last night through the shortened system (System to Dac to Triad Audio L3 headphone amp to Grado RS1 headphones). Wow. Details I hadn't heard before. Think I'm going to love this with my amp and speakers.
Huge thanks to both John and Tony.

The Gustard A22 is a keeper. The DI-20HE is a keeper (even without Tony's mods). Hoping the OCK-1 is as well.

With Roon's price rise in a couple of weeks, I've gone ahead and joined up.
Already have the Intel Nuc, so will set that up at some stage.

As time passes, you will become bound to Roon in ways you never imagined, Brett.
I was a doubter who signed up for a trial years ago... well before the trial ended I signed up for a lifetime subscription and continue to have an excellent experience with it some five years on.

Tad, tad surprised that cable lifters haven't been considered here. Not a new idea, of course. Enid Lumley, that female hi-fi guru (Shock! Horror! Gasp!) advocated their use 40 years ago or so:
