The Silent Point grounding box has just arrived. A pretty hefty thing... Not one you want to carry around a lot.

Where are you thinking of putting them? If your washing machine and dryer affect your stereo, that is some serious isolation issues to sort...

Just bought an AVplay HD-300 I2S cable. Will try that from M2Tech HiFace Evo 2 to LKS MA-DH004 Dac.

Is time for me to consider what tablet to get, although need to sell a few items first.
To run the Project steamer (Project Stream Box S2 Ultra).
Audio streaming is most important. Then Bluetooth, movies.

Tonight's little tweaking... I totally forgotten that I'd made some 'temporary' small changes to three of the channel's amplitude, at some point when I was measuring / tweaking. I'd done them quickly in the digital domain! Balancing driver output level / room effects when measuring. From the designer himself, this is "sub-optimal in its use of the dynamic range at the processing level and on top of that you reduce resolution further with digital volume". This is the control panel excerpt / example (not my adjustments 😱) This evening I put that right, restoring all digital levels to 0dB and using Najda's ability to custom each channel's output in the analogue domain, as above. I also tried 'slow roll-off' Dac interpolation instead of fast, which it's been set on since forever. I definitely didn't like it on slow?! Not sure I should be able to hear the difference?

Had my electrician doing some work on my house. An old railway cottage, built 1929. Solid timber, with extension. My miscalculation (or lack of knowledge) meant I didn't run ethernet cable to the new part of the house. With a flat roof, not able to do it now. Bought a wifi extender a couple of months ago. He said I can run internet through the telephone cable, which has been installed. Just re-terminated. That has me very excited! Next time I get him in, will get ethernet running to my switch and streamer. That's cool. This is what I did to both listening room and lounge. Fixed line phones are so 20th Century 😀 They'd used Cat6 👍 It was a new build 2015. Sense of achievement connecting them all up and getting it to work.

Recent tweaks and accessories: 1. Townshend speaker podiums: waiting for me in the UK, so will have to be patient (difficult because I am expect big things from them). 2. Bybee Quantum Clarifiers (x8): designed to be magnetically attached to the back of your speakers' drivers. I've not fit these properly (at all lol); I'll wait until I have sufficient help with these (UK) but have placed them on my speakers jumpers and various power connections as an interim measure, lowering of the noise floor and allow for more clarity and low level resolution. 3. Shakti Airs (x9): finally! One tweak I can use properly right now. Lowering of noise floor, increased immediacy to sound, removal of slight greyness of sound that was only conspicuous by its absence. Tweaks two and three have been game changers, I wouldn't take my money back, even with the Bybees being sub-optimal in implementation. Bonus item, #4: Akiko Audio foo stickers (X way too many): on capacitors in amps, fuses throughout system and frankly the gateway drug that caused my purchases of #two and three. I was surprised of the positive impact these had on my system, sound has increased impact and energy, 'oomph' if you will and and touch more colour and saturation, without washing out texture in sound. Loving how everything is sounding now, it's like a new system and I'm excited with what's left to try, e.g., grounding, more Akiko stuff, better power conditioning, (more) clock upgrades, silver transformer version of my preamp, the list goes on and I'm here for it

All in and burning in. A couple of questions about the LKS Dac. I've reset the volume bypass, as it will be connected to my integrated Perreaux.
Not sure about the DPLL bandwidth setting. And the digital filter settings.
Where did you run those Martin?

I ran DPLL as low as I could, I think I ran it at 2. It depends on the accuracy of the incoming clock.
The filters are only microscopically different. I used SLOW-M most of the time (slow roll-off Minimum Phase).

The best tweak for me recently was replacing a bunch of different grounding cables with ones from an AliExpress vendor. Just good quality with silver plated stranded copper cable with 4mm plug ends and spades, phono, clips etc. the other end. They seem to have improved the efficacy of the grounding boxes.

What tweaks have been the best value for money in terms of costs to performance in your system For me grounding my mains and digital equipment have been mine I also like the BR big feet, but the grounding has had the most significant effect I did not think the BR ethos made a big difference compared to the long Aucharm I would describe the Ethos as subtle in impact in my system.

Have you got a link to the AliExpress grounding cables? I have a couple of SGS green cables.
