I'm delighted to report that Channel Classics have announced their first vinyl release! Rachel Podger's award winning Four Seasons looks like a pretty good place to start. It's a 180g affair with mastering at Pauler Acoustics, so I'm expecting good things. Should be arriving any day now. I was pestering them a few months back about a lack of any vinyl releases so looks like some others have done the same! They have an excellent catalogue for you more digitally minded chaps - channelclassics.com

I have something else by her, I forget now, but she's good!

I have an album by her (and the Brecon Baroque) entitled Grandissima Gravita. It's very good. You'll have to let us know what the quality of the vinyl transfer on that one is like, Jules.

I will do Paul as that's the most important thing for me. It's digital of course but given the label records their artists very diligently I hope the mastering has been given the same love.
Shame they didn't make it a double vinyl affair with the concertos on the other releases.

My lp just arrived.
First thoughts - the cover is adequate but would prefer a heavier card. Mine has nearly split the top seam.
On the website it says mastered at Pauler Acoustics but no mention of that on the reverse so not sure what's going on there.
I would have like to have seen a nice insert but on the reverse of the cover there is some info and a full list of credits and details for recording and production, so thumbs up for that.
Will get to play it next week.
