Anyone had any success and experience making recordings of your system using a simple phone camera? Any tips or tricks to share?
I realise the microphone's not going to be up to much, however, considering how good the photo quality can be...

A little different to what you are suggesting, but I had some fun recording a cello being played in the living room with an open reel tape deck. I placed a mic beside the mid range driver of each speaker. When the recording was played back, it was extremely vivid.
An interesting experience.

I think it's probably just my age that fools people into thinking I'm a grown-up.
