I went around to Paul I was picking up some equipment so was a great opportunity to listen to his system.
Paul played a mixture of files and Spotify tunes. His system is very well balanced it has a lovely mid range and clean treble, bass is pretty good too, especially on file based material. Although not quite the impact and scale I am used too. I think Paul would find that maybe a bit tiring. It the first time I heard Focals that have impressed me, usually I find them quite hard to listen too. Not one bit of it in Paul's system. They do a pretty good job of throwing a wide soundstage and create a very musical listening experience. They have more in common with Mike system than Martin or my system.
