Just been sent a boat load of measurements demonstrating the difference it makes. Hard to argue with measurements It's good when measurements corroborate what we know we can hear. Well if it was that simple, it would be great. The measurements demonstrate something is happening 100% but how that translates to what we are hearing, I have no idea lol

I have seen what Tony of Coherent has measured with his very trick high end Rigol gear. He can see noise on the ground plane of, for instance, a preamp and the effect of adding a grounding box at that point.
How it translates into what we hear is tricky, as it's possible I suppose for the noise (EMI, RFI or conducted) to have no effect. In the main, though, experience shows that noise where it isn't supposed to be is detrimental to sound quality through all kinds of intermodulation processes.

The RTZ is a grounding box manufactured by Coherent Systems. I have had the RYZ2 for a few years now. To get the best out of it, I run the following cables. AES, digital coaxial, HDMI (i2s) on the digital side. I also run from the RCA outputs. I have found the more cables I run from the DAC into the RTZ, the better performer. On those rare occasions when the system is not sounding up to standards, I find that I have accidentally removed a cable to the RTZ, putting the line back in, and suddenly the music is more natural again. One of the things I forget as what it seems to be doing is helping the DAC to perform to its potential

I have found that the sound is somehow 'off' only to find a grounding croc clip has fallen off.
I eliminated all but two crocs for the correct connector and those two will not fall off.

Yes weird, but essential to have all the cables in
