I’d be interested in any recommendations anyone has. I need to get something to wire my Sonneteer CD player and DAC together. I’m not into buying ready made cables these days because the mark up is unacceptable to me. I also enjoy making my own cables.
I have had a few digital cables in the past. Audioquest Video x and Z were crap. QED was no better, nor were ixos, Cambridge Audio or Atlas. The only decent ones were my own from heavy duty Maplin Coax and Chord Codac.
The Mapiin coax was years ago and the Chord one was changed, so I thought I’d ask if anyone has found a good cable they could recommend.

Micro RG59 cable is supposed to be very good for S/PDIF applications but I confess I haven't tried it.
The Black Cat Silverstar 75 I now use is superb but I don't know if the raw cable is available separately. Black Cat have now moved to the USA.

Thanks, Martin. RG 59 looks ideal. I actually used some Klotz AC110 with Neurtiks on it and git great results. Hopefully more to come with RG59.
