I reckon around a couple of hundred a month André, but that buys a lot of music when you visit charity shops and Amazon Marketplace. Not very often I pay more than £10.00 for an album new and 2nd hand many are just £1.27. Not sure I would spend 30 on an album and I would be ticked off if I had spent 30 on one and it arrived scratched! I don't mind what they arrive like at 1.27, as long as they rip to FLAC perfectly

I spend more on new music from Amazon than I do used, but it all depends on when I get to charity shops in the month. I also buy occasional used from e-Bay and Snow Records. I probably spend £100-150/month on Amazon and maybe £50/month on charity shops.

Probably 300 or so, I tend to buy a lot of new 180 & 200g stuff though.

A great big fat ZERO. I have more music than I could listen to in two lifetimes. There is no point in adding to the collection just to have it sitting on a shelf. When we moved here, I dumped 50% of my music, stuff I had been carrying around for years but never actually listened to. (Beethoven and Mozart for example If its listened to once and forgotten there is no point in keeping it. Old friends are revisited regularly and if I see something new on here or elsewhere that looks interesting, I check it out on-line. Very few interest me enough to want to buy these days. I went through the stage of buying regularly in my 30s and 40s. I no longer need to do that. and anyway, at my time of life, so many things seem rather ordinary and unoriginal. I have always been interested in discovery but there comes a time to actually relax and enjoy what you have to the full. Apart from anything else, there is just too much to do and I doubt if I spend more than an hour or two a day listening to music now. Books, food, wine, friends, garden, cats, interesting places to visit. How the hell one is supposed to jam it all in I don't know.

I stopped buying records in Oxfam when they started campaigning for the Labour party (spending my cash on political advertising), so my spending has fallen to virtually nothing. I sometimes buy the odd new record, but don't like paying more than about £15 and quite a lot of stuff is proced at £20, which is too much for me. Ocassionally I find a bargain in other charity shops, usally £1 or £1.50.
