Hi All
Just noticed another thread on here with a hello from Wiltshire. Well Im another Andy and also from Wiltshire! This is going to get confusing! I live reasonably close to Longleat/Center Parks in a village.
Mainly Rega with a Brio 2017 amp, Apollo R, Rega RS3 speakers, Yamaha WXC 50 pre amp, Rega P1 (prefer CD or streaming to vinyl) , Rega Duet speaker cables, Klotz AC110 interconnects. I also have two legacy systems that are in different rooms with Yamaha WXAD 10 devices to give multiroom
Various bluetooth speakers in other rooms (these connect through the Yamaha devices)
Basically I run a multi room system throughout my home
Mainly into Jazz, Classical, Folk music, CD is my prefered format although I regularly stream music through NAS or from Spotify
Im looking into a DAC at present for the Rega System and am looking at the Caimen SEG Hence why joing this forum and the art of sound forum Cheers Andy

Welcome, Andy. Jazz, Classical, and Folk eh? We're mostly into Grime, Speed Metal, and Deep Psychobilly here, but don't let that put you off.

Hi and welcome to The Audio Standard. I am interested in the 'legacy systems'! What do they consist of?

Hi Andy from Wiltshire and welcome I am a fellow Rega fan, although not at your level and I can assure you that the SEG is an excellent DAC, and I have personally compared it to the Rega DAC and the SEG won hands down. Add a battery and it gets even better. Paul.

Welcome - you've made me jealous because when I lived in Wiltshire (Great Bedwyn) there were loads of hifi shops within easy distance. Now I'm up in Northumberland the nearest is 30 miles away, and the rest are mostly around 100 miles+ .
