Hah - Birtwistle and Maxwell Davies. I've had to suffer their music at several Proms and I agree with the audience on these two.

My biggest Proms shocker was listening to Rattler and Berlin Phil crucifying some Sibelius. Mind bogglingly tedious!!

I've been lucky with Rattle live. His Mahler 2 was quite awesome.
My biggest shocker, apart from the aforesaid Birtwistle and Maxwell Davies, was Rihm and some godawful din along the lines of Paul's waiter with tea tray falling down some stairs. It was an inaugural piece. Hoping it was also the last performance.
