I use Wireworld Starlight USB cable to connect from my PC to my DAC. Worthwhile improvement over a 'standard' cable - I was surprised. Review.

Idk how popular this brand is over in Europe, but the Curious USB has beaten some seriously expensive competition over here in Australia (think $1,000).
Apparently the Mad Scientist (ugh I hate that brand name) Black Magic is meant to be exceptionally good too. I’m going to try it in my system soon and will report back.
I use the Curious myself, it beat the Tellurium Q Graphite USB.

So what do you think?
The Black Magic’s are in today and I’m liking what I hear. Nice organic sound and lower noise floor. Bass is tighter and more expressive.

Final impressions on the BM USB cable: Caveat; on my recent trip back to the UK, I purchased an exceptionally good cable loom - Coherent cables '6D' series: rcas x 2, speaker cables and power cables x4. When I put the Coherent loom into my system it sounded very good (lowered the noise floor, added a sense of 'rightness'). In hindsight (post Black Magic USB into system) the Curious USB cables have been masking the Coherent looms true potential; putting in the Black Magic has allowed everything to ‘snap’ into place and I've experienced a significant upgrade in sound quality. This is a huge compliment to the Black Magic, that I feel it can immediately allow a SOTA cable loom (an order of magnitude more expensive than the Black Magic) to perform significantly better. This does muddy the waters for me with determining how much improvement to attribute to the USB cable alone. Having said all of this, if I can hear it for the first time (which I can), the Black Magic is allowing this through, where as the Curious USB did not; This realisation of potential wouldn't have been possible without the Black Magic in the chain. What I'm hearing is a significant uplift in resolution across the spectrum, as well as an overall calming of the sound; I attribute this as a result of the noise floor having been lowered, an injection of ease and detail if you will. The bottom end has grown a pair as well, being filled out, better defined and more textured (this is through a tiny pair of Usher S520s - I can't wait to get a pair of floor standers back in!).
IME this is an excellent cable that’s well worth the investment.
