Definitely left-wing and definitely biased, but an interesting read nonetheless. I'm not putting this forward as an opinion, they are not my thoughts, but they do mesh with some of what has already been said in this post.

I'd like to thank MikeMusic for suggesting somewhere that Al Jazeera news is worth watching. I've been trying it this week. Last night I counted 5 different countries in the top five headlines, and then many more stories from around the world. It's an absolute breath of fresh air to hear about what is really going on rather than the BBC's naval gazing about COVID / Trump / tiresome minor members of the Royal Family. The BBC simply give no feeling for what is really happening that is important - in other words, THE NEWS. Their news website is also shocking with so few mostly UK-centric stories featured.

I'm not claiming that Al Jazeera is fully impartial or an icon of reportage, but goodness me I'm impressed with what I've seen so far.
