This thread exists because internet forums are merely an excuse for middle aged men to compile lists. I'll start the ranting. Why is it that our kettle, which is an expensive, modern, engineered, stylish, ergonomic, efficient triumph of modern engineering can't pour a small measure of water into a cup without spilling a load more all over the kitchen top? When I go to Greece, I'm often given wine in an aluminium jug like this... I've never spilled a drop from one and it hasn't even got a chuffin' spout!

Why is it that a bastard Bobcat broke down on me the other day with 140 tons of soymeal still on the boat? Bastard machines have some kind of intelligence I'm sure....

I love all technology and I've never had a moment's problem with any of it.
Help! My computer is making me write this.

Yes I know it's 'Triumph' Here's my triumph. Sonos wireless speakers. You have Sonos hw, you have wifi (or own mesh network if preferred), you have Sonos connect app, you have Alexa and you have Alexa skill for Sonos, and your Alexa skill for each streaming service! That's a lot of balls in the air Somehow it all comes to together to give voice control of your music for all Spotify stuff, all TuneIn radio stuff (almost) and scores of other streaming services..

I have a nice Black and Decker electric screwdriver. The charger stopped working - typically, just as I was building a pergola in the garden. I went to Bunnings and asked after a replacement charger. £25 and not in stock, was the response.
Then I spotted a gorgeous looking Ozito electric screwdriver with a set of bits and charge cradle on sale for £14.99. Duh, I bought it even though I dislike throwing something away that is perfectly serviceable.
