So Munich are getting a new concert house. Lucky them, but this seems to be a pattern across Europe, with the grand exception of the UK of course ... Why aren't we getting some brave new designs with exemplary acoustics?? Lots of controversy about the design, but that's generally a good thing. Because we appear not to revere classical music in the same way as other countries?
It's sad that the proposed new concert hall for London came to nothing, but not at all surprising.
