I have just spent the past fifteen minutes trying to regain control of my senses after reading a hilarious two star review on Amazon of a hybrid radio. It is a clever gadget which can either be charged from a USB port, via a small windlass type crank or by an array of solar panels positioned on top of the unit, clever huh? Well, not if yours develops the two minor faults this gentleman's did. Below is his review:
"Can't you turn that bloody thing off???"
"No"
"Well at least turn it down..."
"I can't"
"Take the batteries out then"
"Here, be my guest..."

Have you ever typed on the wrong frigging keyboard and wondered why your computer isn't responding?
Meanwhile, the one just out of view is going haywire...

In case members think I am laughing at somebody else's misfortune I can assure you, if this had happened to me I would have found it even funnier...

On topic to the extent of "green" it reminds me of a lovely - really lovely - experience Sue and I had in the Dordogne a couple of years ago. We were visiting Domme - a mediavel village up a hill on a bend in the Dordogone with beautiful views from an open courtyard over the river valley below. As we arrived we could hear music. Live mediaeval music being played. Neither of us recognised the instrument, which was a hammered dulcimer played by a German travelling musician. Beautiful. (Sadly I lost the video I took when I changed phones). We bought a CD from him which was wrapped in paper, and tied with hessian twine (I still have both CD and cover). The CD was burned using a solar powered system. He was travelling around europe in a wagon pulled by a horse, eating organic food and trying to live a carbon neutral life as a travelling musician My green CD Edit "hear" not "here"

What a wonderful story Richard, I would very much like to listen to the CD myself as The Dulcimer is a bewitchingly beautiful instrument to listen to (in the right hands of course)

Lots of Dulcimer on this CD, which is one of my favourites. I agree, it's a wonderful sounding instrument.
