A 'right result' at Oxfam today. Picked up this haul of vinyl including three box sets for £18 all in. They are all possibly unplayed, or played a couple of times max for sure. The majority are top rated performances too ... Jerry will no doubt be impressed by the addition of another 4 Seasons to my collection ... I've even bought some Mahler ... Let's see if it stays!

Nice going, Jules. I see you've even sneaked a bit of Wagner in.

Some crackers there, Jules. The Berlioz Requiem is quite a work and Colin Davis knew his Berlioz.

The Wagner just crept in as I was only buying it for Verklarte Nacht ...
It's funny, the Berlioz is the one I'm least confident of holding onto, but had to be worth a spin.
Not looking forward to the cleaning session though!

I think I have that Durufle recording, too. Will listen to it tomorrow.

Look what else I just picked up Martin - not a charity shop purchase but I'm sure you remember that electric Grosso Mogul by Vivaldi that Ms Benedetti treated us to; I found this nice looking LP that I'm sure will be excellent. I have found Claudio Scimone to be more than reliable for these kind of works ...

Very nice, and I have something recorded by I Solisti Veneti although I can't remember what.

This superlative Couperin has arrived from Germany - been after this for a while ... Can't wait to get it in the deck!
