I am lucky to have had the SP-10R production unit serial number 0006 for a while. It was way ahead of the SP-10 MK2's that so many of us use. The SL-1000R is not £20K as widely shown but £13,995.00 The SP-10R chassis version is good value at £7,995 and will fit into eBay £300 plinths out of the box, but shown here in a 35 year old Technics plinth.

There is another option to get on the Technics SP-10R ladder. We almost give away a Timestep armboard, Jelco arm and AT33EV for £8.5K. It sits on the rack perfectly and sounds very good ! Add a plinth and better arm later ?
