Door locks upgraded to BS 3621 today. Locksmith could not make the 28 day insurance deadline of 8th Jan so not covered since then, although the order was placed. Maybe they would have coughed (?)
Philosophical about this until today (I thought) Felt like a weight had been taken off. Good feeling
What Sword of Damocles do we have over us we don't even realise is there ?

You'd only not be covered if they broke in through one of those locks.. smash a window etc and you'd be covered. There was a case the Ombudsman read the riot act to insurance company over.. Ombudsmen are good news. Another great Scandinavian invention

It just revealed that it has nearly met that goal after collecting nearly 48,000 tons of e-waste. The committee collected its 2,700 kg (5,950 pounds) target of bronze back in June, 93.7 percent of its 30.3 kg (67 pound) gold target and 85.4 percent of the 4,100 kg (9,000 pounds) of silver it needed.
