There's so much learning available on YouTube alone.
I could be cynical and say many parents have no trouble paying for expensive Apple white goods for their children, not to mention the accompanying contract.
Liverpool's Salah donates COVID supply to hometown
Liverpool soccer striker Mohamed Salah has donated oxygen tanks and an ambulance to his home village in the Egyptian region of Gharbia.
Hoping to help locals in the COVID fight as the country battles a second wave of infections.
This is Hassan Bakr, the head of the charity founded by the soccer player:
"We also have oxygen cylinders donated by Salah. We have 14 Oxygen cylinders inside the Mohamed Salah Charity Foundation. These help people in the village of Nagrig, as well as those from surrounding villages. I deliver the cylinder to patients' homes filled with oxygen, and take it back when it's empty. We also have an ambulance unit built by Mohamed Salah, which has been operating since July 2020, inaugurated by the Gharbia governorate mayor. This also helped us during the coronavirus, when transporting patients to the quarantine hospitals."
The 28-year-old soccer player tested positive for the virus last November.
Salah maintains deep connections with the small, poor village where he grew up, about 80 miles north of Cairo.
He donates around $64,000 each year to the Mohamed Salah Charity Foundation, according to the group.
Egypt's government has confirmed over 150,000 infections since the start of the pandemic.
However, health officials say the real number is likely far higher because of the relatively low rate of coronavirus testing and the exclusion of private test results.
John Bishop, comedian, Liverpool FC supporter, and new Doctor Who "companion," if you hadn't heard, has donated 100 laptops to pupils at his old school in Cheshire.
John Bishop has donated 100 laptops to his old school in Cheshire to help disadvantaged children learning from home during the coronavirus crisis.
Students in schools and colleges in England - except children of key workers and vulnerable pupils - have been told to learn at home until mid-February due to tighter restrictions.
More than 1.3 million laptops and tablets have now been made available to pupils but concerns remain that many still lack a suitable device in order to study remotely.
Bishop, 54, said it was "unacceptable" that some children were being sent home without the tools to learn and were "basically being written off".
His gift of 100 new laptops was welcomed as "wonderful" by the principal of Ormiston Bolingbroke Academy in Runcorn.
Bishop, who qualified for free school meals as a boy, attended the school between 1978 and 1983 when it was called Brookvale High.
Bishop said in a statement: "The pandemic has been difficult for everyone, but it has also illustrated the gulf that exists in some parts of society - from the issue of free school meals, to the access of devices to facilitate home learning."
"My life was changed by the commitment of brilliant teachers and a supportive school and I know that ethos is still the same - teachers want to teach and the Government have to help and not hinder them.
"What I can do for my old school fills a gap, but the reality is that in 2021 our children deserve to be educated properly and that requires the Government to provide the tools necessary for home learning immediately. Because every day a child feels irrelevant is a day that we as a society could lose all the potential they offer.
"When this pandemic is over we do not want a generation of children who, through no fault of their own, find themselves left behind. Allowing that to happen would be shameful."

Ormiston Bolingbroke Academy principal Kathryn Evans said: "John knows and really cares for our community, he got in touch quite out of the blue, knowing that we might well have pupils who don't have spare laptops for remote learning laying around at home.
"This gift to our pupils is wonderful and that it's from a former pupil, makes it all the more special. We are so grateful to him and his family."
The comedian, who tested positive for coronavirus over Christmas, was recently announced as a new cast member on BBC One's Doctor Who.

"Deliveroo will reward its busiest riders with bonuses of up to £10,000 when the food delivery firm lists its shares on the London Stock Exchange.
Riders who have delivered the most orders will share in a £16m fund, the company said.
Deliveroo will also open the flotation to its customers who can buy up to £1,000 worth of shares in the firm.
The company is expected to be valued at around $7bn (£5bn) when it floats but it is yet to make a profit.
In its most recent financial results for the year to 31 December 2019, sales rose by 62% to £771.7m.
However, pre-tax losses also grew from £243.3m to £317.7m.
Demand for takeaway meals has soared during the coronavirus pandemic, after lockdown measures were first implemented a year ago and restaurants have been forced to close.
"A year of various lockdowns has fuelled demand for companies like Deliveroo," said Russ Mould, investment director at AJ Bell.
Deliveroo's chief executive, Will Shu, founded the business in 2013 Restrictions on hospitality businesses will start to ease on 12 April.
But Mr Mould said: "There is an expectation that habits formed during the pandemic will remain long into the recovery.
Payments Deliveroo, which was founded in 2013, confirmed that it will list its shares in London.
As part of the flotation, riders in its 12 markets who have worked with the firm for at least a year will be paid a bonus of either £10,000, £1,000, £500 and £200 depending on the number of orders they have delivered.
Deliveroo also said it would make £50m worth of shares available to customers who would be able to register their interest via the company's app.
It said that if demand for shares was high, Deliveroo would prioritise existing "loyal customers". But it added that it would "make sure a mixture of new and existing customers benefit".
Deliveroo founder and chief executive Will Shu, said: "Far too often normal people are locked out of initial public offerings and the only participants are the institutional investors.
"I wanted to give as many customers as possible the chance to become shareholders."
Listing rules Deliveroo's decision to list in London was revealed as a government-commissioned review of the UK's listing rules recommended a number of measures to make the country a more attractive place for companies to float.
The review, led by former European Commissioner Lord Hill, recommended allowing two different classes of shares with differential voting rights.
It gives founders more power in making key decisions.
Major tech companies such as Facebook and Google-owner Alphabet have so called dual-class shares.
Deliveroo confirmed it intends to use the same structure when it floats on the London Stock Exchange.

Liverpool captain, Jordan Henderson, steps up, again.
Jordan Henderson @jhenderson
Online abuse has got to stop. Recently I’ve been thinking about what I can do, as an individual, to try and make a difference. I've seen friends, team-mates, other players within football and in wider society be on the receiving end of horrendous online abuse which...
…is now out of control. The platforms should be doing more but as a society we need to be kinder to each other – that’s where it starts and stops. I have seriously considered deleting my social media accounts in the last few weeks but instead I want to use my platforms…
...to try and drive positive change - people shouldn't have to boycott platforms or deactivate accounts just to avoid abuse. So I'm handing all my social media accounts over to @cybersmilehq who I have partnered with to raise awareness.
...of the impact that cyberbullying and online abuse can have on people. They'll be sharing stories of people affected as well as resources for education, reporting and how to get help if you or someone you know is struggling. Things have got to change.

You may have read about, or heard about young Jordan. He's the young Liverpool supporter who was struck by lightening while he was out football training.
Liverpool FC remembered him like this, before our match yesterday...
His shirt was hung in the dressing room, and every player warmed up before kick-off wearing a "Jordan" number 7 shirt.
I didn't use to need the internet, my wife knew everything.

"A bank manager sacked after helping a visually impaired customer open his mail has been headhunted for her "above and beyond customer service".
Nadia Begum lost her job at a branch of Lloyds in Oxford after assisting Clifford Weedon, 86, with tasks as his eyesight worsened.
Lloyds said its decision was based on ensuring customers were protected by its "colleague code of responsibility".
Mr Weedon said he was "absolutely over the moon" Ms Begum was working again.
The pair became friends when they had dealings at the Carfax branch, but as the pensioner's eyesight grew worse he said Ms Begum became a "godsend".
Mr Weedon, from Headington, said any suggestion he was taken advantage of was "absolutely ridiculous", describing the bank's decision to fire her as "horrendous".
"She's an angel in disguise," he said. "I've never met a person like her."
...."there was a light at the end of the tunnel" in the form of several job offers, including one from the director of energy provider Octopus Energy, which she accepted.
Ms Begum told the BBC she had been "put on a pedestal" at the new company for the same reason she lost her job at the bank.
Chief executive Greg Jackson said when he heard her story "I knew immediately that we needed to hire her".
He added: "Nadia's warmth and humanity was the perfect fit.
"I was worried in fact that she might have already been snapped up but we were so excited that once we'd reached out, she accepted a role.
"She's already a star, I'm so pleased to see that she's settled in with us."
