Big surprise for me and anyone who knows pro cycling
Chris Froome is riding in the Giro, intending to win it.
So that would scupper his chances of winning the Tour de France then. No. He is going for that too. Oh !
No chance in the Vuelta then (Tour of Spain) No. He is going for that too I read.
Impossible. Hope I'm wrong

Mike - I've just ridden 4km! My first bike ride in many months. Admittedly it was on the flat and in the gym ...

In case anyone didn't know we have a British born leader and (we hope) likely first ever winner of the Giro in
Simon Yates
He has been working his way up and looks very good. Also has an identical twin, Adam. My guess is that he will ride the Tour de France.......

Tomorrow, Sunday's stage is the one to watch.
Very tough stage over farm tracks and cobbles.
The riders and teams are in the main at least apprehensive if not worried.
ITV4 11.30am

What a great race ! Another Brit wins the TdF Harder every year and crowded at the top.
Geraint Thomas will given the final yellow jersey tomorrow. Not that long ago I couldn't see a Brit would win the TdF in my lifetime. if ever.

Glued to the Tour of Spain, hardly able to believe he could do it and now there is yet another British winner of a major tour. Simo Yates
For a Brit to win anything like this is very special. For Britain to hold all 3 titles with different Brits doesn't sound real.
You can watch all the stages on ITV iPlayer for a few more days.
