Hi all folks in the know. I have just bought myself a new Samsung mobile as my old one is now giving me probs.
The Old phone is a Nokia 530, Windows 8.1 on which I have a number of treasured photos that I want to transfer to my PC Windows 10, how do I go about this? Once I take the Sim card out of the old phone and activate the new one, thats it... gone for good unless I transfer them!
Your advice will be much appreciated, thanks Ron.

Use your Microsoft Account and install the OneDrive app on both phones. You can go through and save to OneDrive all your treasured photos on the old phone. Your new phone and Windows 10 PC (which has built-in OneDrive) will automatically see them.

Thanks Martin, now done except for the new phone as I'm waiting for a nano sim card from my provider. New phone will not accept present Sim as its the old type.
Did want to get a Microsoft 950XL but looks like MS phones are now unsupported?

Did want to get a Microsoft 950XL but looks like MS phones are now unsupported? I know - I had a little cry and passed on my 950 to Ruth, who likes it (and has no need for most of the apps I use). I now use an LG Q6 Android phone which supports OneDrive, Office 365 and Edge browser so I almost feel at home again.
