Another album I am unfamilar with, looking forward to it. I see this has a genre of Indietronica, which I have not come across before that I can remember, so should be interesting.

I've got this , I found it very refreshing at first , something totally different and a clever idea , just gets a bit samey .Haven't played it in a long while I'll give it a spin before voting.

Quite liking it, but could see what you mean, Barry it could get quite samey.
Reminds me a little of Bran Van 3000.

Really liking this, it has gone on my to buy list. I have given it 7/10, close to a 8 but I can see the samey element coming in once you have listened to it a few times.

Glad you've enjoyed it Paul. Their other two albums are also worth checking out. Both are more conceptual; 'The Race For Space' is about the US/Soviet space race in the 60s. 'Every Valley' is about the rise and decline of the coal industry in Wales. Both are terrific. They are also great live. |

Some of the music is pretty good but the constant narration is unnecessary and starts to grate on me. 5/10.

Only a 6/10 from me I'm afraid. I forgot it was on because it had turned into background music. It wasn't even a "curate's egg" situation, because there's nothing bad about it, but it meanders between 'quite good' and 'nondescript' for me. I didn't feel there was enough there to command my attention.

Don't like the speech sampling.
Bill Nelson does this sometimes and often spoils good music
