But as u know, been focusing on other mods.l haven't tried his HBN treatment yet, but his Rochelle Salt discovery is awesome.
Hopefully you can inspire me to start the ground boxes.

I decided not to wait for all the ingredients for the ground box to arrive, but made a makeshift version out of the box the Magnetite arrived in. I used a single 4sqmm core from some van damme speaker cable, which I stripped about a foot of. I then separated some of the strands and buried the exposed copper into the bag of Magnetite. I must remember to wear gloves next time as the chosen Dog Poo bag got lost in the Magnetite, leaving my hand looking like a coal miners. I terminated the cable onto pin 1 of an xlr connector and plugged it into the Dac's AES input. I only listened for a few minutes, but I think this actually works. I could hear more into the music. Excellent... l'm guessing your using Natural Magnetite. Can you give some links on where you purchased, and recommend amount in weight you be using.

Thanks Matt, so Magnetite is the main ingredient, the rest is the Sunday Roast trimmings...
Keep us posted

This Magnetite box is worth the cost and (lack of)effort on its own, even without building anything. I’m really surprised what it does. The music has taken on much more 3 dimensionality. It’s so much easier to dissect a track. On one particular track, I can now hear a sound so clearly it’s impossible to miss, yet I’ve never noticed it before.

Take a leaf from the Quartz Acoustic book. They use thin copper sheet to encase the entire contents and provide good conductivity to the terminal post. Performance-wise, the QA grounding boxes are the best I've heard. You might be able to get some thin sheet/foil and do a similar job?

Thanks for the suggestion Martin, I will certainly give that a try, but probably on the second box.

I think they also mention the use of a lot of fine copper wire tracing through the matrix / filling as well.

I wonder is the underside of the lid on the Quartz acoustic box lined with copper too? I found some copper material that looks like sponge made from pure copper and was thinking of trying that out in the box too. Just found this amazing item on AliExpress. The Tungsten cube arrived today. I ordered a 15mm cube as I wasn't sure if I had clearance for a bigger one on top of the clock. As you can see from the pictures, the cube is perched on top of the clock. Good job I didn't order a bigger one. Lets hope the Glue is strong. I used the 2 part stuff Martin recommended. If you look in the second picture, I have circled what looks like another, smaller clock in Red. Untitled by Matt Hoyle, on Flickr Untitled by Matt Hoyle, on Flickr

I know it sounds daft, but give the cube time to work its magic. Both of mine took a few days although they did sound wowy from the off.

That additional crystal, looks like the similar sized to the ones you found FMC and network switches. I added a small 5mm square of Tungsten, wrapped it up in sandwich layer of flashing tape, copper tape.
The Dury is still out on this, on if you can detect the effect, certainly not like the other 15mm mod.
Atoz and myself, had great success on modding the FMC, but kinda need to do all of the mods, for it to become apparent.
Anyway..Well done Matt, hope you're enjoying the improvement it brings.

Complete and utter insanity I believe you but what on earth is going on here It could be as simple as thermal settling within the enclosed case. That cube will take time to acquire its settling temp with the cover back on as it's a relatively large mass. I do suspect something else is going on, though. The sound quality improvement is dramatic.
