Hello Everyone.
I'm James, decided to take up speaker building over 4 years ago with no prior knowledge. I've been blogging my journey on FB - www.facebook.com/SparrowLegsSpeakerDesign/ and was fortunate that a fellow TAS member (ChrisB) picked up on one of my builds over a year ago - theaudiostandard.net/thread/2815/diy-mbl-speakers.
My favourite Audio Engineer is Laurence Dickie, Audio Magazine - Hifi Pig and my most used Amp is a Class T Amptastic.
For over a year now, I've been designing, building and developing Omni-Directional Speakers which are finally yielding good results. Yes I will admit, the more I develop the Omni design, the more its starting to look like an MBL, but this is a result of physics!
Dream would be to do this as a paid job, but till then, I'll continue plugging a way, just a few hours a week into this hobby.

Hi James,
Your videos are an inspiration to anyone thinking of DIY'ing anything at all (not just hi-fi related). So it's great to have you here. I don't know Mr Dickie but I went to the same school as some of his current and previous colleagues!
