I need some XLR connectors. Nothing too expensive or fancy, so I am thinking of some Neutrik XX series with gold plated pins. Anything better for the money?

The Neutrik XX series with silver contacts sound very good indeed, and I recommend them over the gold ones. I specified them on my Yannis cables.

I have these on one set of Isobarik leads.
The look, feel and sound so good
The original plugs are rubbish in comparison and I doubt much less money, possibly the same

Thanks gents.
I have ordered some Neutrik NC3MXX-BAG connectors.
I was originally going for gold plated connectors, but these XLR connectors are cheap enough to change if I fancy it.
