I first heard Ricercar 6 played on organ, not realising that it was written for harpsichord. I have loved it transcribed for organ ever since but it's been hard finding it on CD. Spotify only has it on a large boxed set.
Does anyone know of a good organ transcription available on CD?

 Thanks again for finding this. The CD is a great recording. I haven't always liked Nimbus but the organ is a superb instrument set in just the right space (in a Danish church), not too swimmy, and the playing is very sympathetic. It's a gorgeous work, the Ricercar for 6 voices, and something I've wanted in my collection for several years. Most pleased! |
