Years ago What Hifi did an article on the Ongaku amp which they'd paired with horn speakers and a record player. It was a mega expensive system and they took it to some castle to test.
Id like to read it again but just cannot find it at all. Can anyone help?

I don't have thwt, as I never bought WHF, unless there was nothing else available before a train journey or something. What I do have though, is what was probably the first UK review of it in Audiophile magazine. I can get you a copy of that if you want Chris.

Thanks ChrisB but no thanks. It's that specific article I'm looking for as a couple of recent threads have driven me potty! I'm trying to remember what the speakers were and just cannot do it. It was years ago right enough!
Featured the Ongaku hooked up to these horn speakers and a ridiculously expensive record player that used a vacuum and had wood from 17th century sailing ships in it.
Appreciate your help.
