Some of Bach's organ music is quite wonderful. Not always the monster pieces like Toccata & Fugue in D Minor, but the smaller compositions. There's also the St Matthew Passion, glorious. I also really like The Musical Offering. Just listen to the structure and wonder at his genius.

There's also the St Matthew Passion, glorious. Now this I do like, saw a wonderful performance in New Zealand whilst I was travelling. It was almost magical. |

Listened again. Sounds different every time and I now have Bach fatigue  Difficult for me to assess. Previously I would have been in the Salieri camp - "too many notes" Having the separation makes it a very different experience. 4 / 5 but that may change as I listen to this as well as other music that may well show Bach origins |
