Never heard one but I agree with Mike, I bet the Beresford with battery power will at least equal, but likely better it.

This is the one my Dad bought for his Caiman II. You can also get a different type of battery that either Martin or John could advise you on which they believe to be even better.

hi martin at the moment im using a best of two worlds solution ,sbooster which i bought of tim a few months back,im using mode 3,is the seg a big step up from the caiman 2,also every time i try and enter sales on stans site i always get a problem going further,so i don`t know how much it is including post,have you any idea.by the way this caiman 2 sound quality is mint through my second system,as you can see at the start of the thread i was thinking of getting the latest oppo head/dac also what cables would i need to conect battery to dac cheers alan |

Mr Naim, your way of demanding answers to your questions is somewhat annoying.
The battery I suggested comes with cables. The other ones I am unsure on.
As you may have seen, I recently upgraded from a Caiman II to a SEG, the improvement was significant, bass tightened up, is faster and the overall sound feels fuller and wider, I had the latest firmware in the Caiman II I had and ran it also in mode 3.
I don’t know about DSD, but if you want me to know, why not email or call, Stan, I’ve always found him to be very helpful. He can also help on price but I think the SEG all in worked out around £250 if I remember correctly.

thanks paul,i did not know i got the connection cables between battery and dac,thanks again ,waiting for a responce from stan,i thought someone mite know the price as all i get when i click on sales on his site is the
