The picture says it all. RIP Jimmy It's a shame I wasn't around for his era, people talk about Jimmy Clark in such a positive manner, not only a true gentleman, but also a superb racer.

Sir Stirling Moss is severely underrated in motor racing history. I am not sure I'd agree with that, he is always talked about as the greatest driver to not win a World Championship, which is a high accolade.

Yes, you are right, he was blisteringly quick and a true racer. I remember watching something with Niki Lauda where he was saying he was by far the craziest driver he'd ever come across in his career.

Little fact I like, the first British formula 1 world champion mike hawthorn came from my home town of Mexborough. There's a plaque for him in the high street
