I hope to enjoy this new community.
My interest is the best music production I can muster and to that end and to keep it affordable, nearly all my kit is DIY, and even the commercial stuff is heavily tweaked/upgraded.
Garrard 401 sunk into a slab of Welsh Blue Slate, Audiomods arm, Ortofon Contra B.
Naim CD3
World Audio Design Pre II, Phono II and PSU II. Pre II is converted to a no gain cathode follower buffer stage, soon to become a Six input Stereo Coffee LDR Pre/Volume control.
All interconnects are home brew using IPL Acoustics IC2 cable.
Power Amp is a clone of the original (circa 1995) World Audio Design single chassis 300B push pull.
Speaker cables are CAT5 TNT Audio 'Twisted Twins'.
World Audio Design KLS3 MkI speakers.
Lots of friends and acquaintances I already recognise here. Looking forward to it!
