I notice that Hi-Fi amplifiers in the past when they were first manufactured were the best thing since sliced bread  according to HI-FI press [Why Hi-Fi mags were Hi-Fi mags] yet 40 years on they are medicore! Sorry but i do not buy this one single bit. Since the advent of Digital & manufacturing Equipment around it  has Hi-Fi not changed one bit. Why is it then that people pay & buy such a massive amount of old equipment, why is it that countries that sell us their tripe pay big money for our old equipment! Why is it that some mega good systems involve old gear. Old & new does intergrate 100% i do not care what anyone says.
