Nice one Chris! I hate choppers with a vengeance. Once had to film a Hurricane air-to-air from one and nearly 'dropped my load' so to speak once it started that steep banking where you are parallel with the ground!!

Cheers julesd68 - appreciate that.
Where we are has been especially badly hit by all the 225 accidents - 16 killed on 1,4 on another and one of our crews was on the one that ditched with 17 on board so all these events are VERY close to home.
The flight time is probably the longest of any of the heli runs - we've been 4hrs out to the rig a couple of times - so it is a high risk part of the job. After all the accidents we had the big bosses out saying there will be change but it's all pish.
We all realise and accept its part of the job though so we just down a pint of "man the fuck up" and get on with it!
Did the new rebreather course today and they're good bits of kit so at least there is some progress. Right, bed now that's the end of a 23hr day and I would like to be fresh for my day ahead tomorrow!

Only thing that scares me is custard powder. Awful stuff. What nonsense Stuff of life. It that Creme Anglaise that is 'orrible. Only Birds powder makes the real thing and a proper trifle. Did one yesterday with fresh redcurrants. Yummy.

julesd68 - yeah same thing but not for diving - these are the new escape sets. You get 2 minutes with the bottle on these which is much better than before. Neater and tidier as well.
As for nodrog - NO! No custard powder makes the real thing. It's a horrible lie!
As long as you liked your trifle though that's all that matters. We've got red currants as well and they're going to get hoofed into a bottle of vodka then stuck in the freezer.

Any fruit that enters our kitchen usually ends up as jam. Fortunately, I had run out of clean pots so found something else to do with them Rather like the sound of the vodka.
