Hi All I have a question about dac's I have a Beresford SEG and i'm very happy with it what I was wondering is do my dac convert 96kHz from a old dvd player and then reclock it at a higher rate before it turns to analog ?

No, the SEG will not resample (which is what you meant) to a high rate but then you wouldn't want to resample from 96kHz to an even higher rate.
What the SEG does do is re-clock to remove jitter. Put it into Mode 4 (three LED flashes) if you haven't done that already. You need to do it for each input.

As Martin says reclocking just improves the signal quality by reducing jitter
