Decided to get a Logitech 650 due to good feed back and that model and this article
This does up to 8 devices which seems a good amount for me as I may shove it in my pocket and turn on and off in multiple rooms
Had to have one that could learn as most of my kit is not on the Logitech database.
I have gone with and against my life aims.
Simplify with less kit and technology
Make life easier with, one hopes, a remote that will control multiple devices.
Given my lack of patience with tech I may also have shot myself in the foot
There is one on the way, 2nd hand and a nice low price. I will report back.
If successful I may continue with more advanced models.
