For me this year, and yes we paid actual money for it, John Wick 3. Utter and complete shit of the first order. We lasted 30 minutes and that's only because we felt bad having wasted the entry price after searching for something to watch that evening. How it gets 7.5 on IMDB is a mystery to me and indicates that people are happy to see mindless action with no storyline and acting by numbers.

You did better than me Martin, I lasted less the 20 minutes in JW 3 - an improvement on JW 2, I think I was out in about 10 for that one. They are very popular though, probably amongst Michael Bay film fans. The cinema was very busy for both of them, so I can understand the rating on IMDB. They say you need to have been in on John Wick from the beginning to get the best out of them - I missed Chapter 1, so maybe that's our issue (not)
It's still not as bad as Wolf though, that could well be the worst film I've ever seen . . . . until today maybe?
I would not have paid for a ticket though, so at least that's some consolation. It doesn't annoy me walking out of films anymore, but it would if I'd paid a tenner, so I feel for you, especially as you bought two tickets!

I saw JW 1 on TV and it wasn't bad entertainment. Thus the dreadful error with 3.

It has to be El Camino, the made for Netflix movie sequel to the excellent Breaking Bad TV series. Shockingly bad!

One Michael Bay film that delivers is Con-Air - one of my favourite action films with John Malkovich very amusing as Cyrus the Virus ...

Well I think that’ll be it for bad films this year, nothing else on the horizon to beat Wolf, not even Cats - Wolf is in a clear league of it’s own. It's a real shocker! In fact I can think of 3 films much worse than Cats this year (and even worse than John Wick III); Wolf The Curse of La Llorona Countdown So far I’ve seen 190 films at the Cinema during 2019 and they’ll be 3 or 4 more before the years out. That works out at just over a quid a film with what I pay for my subscription, so I'd say that was reasonably cheap entertainment.
