I haven't watched anything on TV since Saturday night. It's great! I'm going to declare not watching TV as my guilty pleasure, I absolutely love it EDIT: I did however watch the Williams documentary (Netflix) with my mate on Christmas eve, does that count? Frank, Venus, or Kenneth?

Haha, good point. There's only one Williams documentary on Netflix as far as I know, but I should have stipulated - Sir Frank Williams. The rest of the holidays have been spent chatting, partying, drinking, eating and listening to music (lot's and lot's of music). No TV bollox for us as we're all odd! Best Christmas telly for me is a bit of an oxymoron - but then again I don't have a scoody doo what's on, so I could be missing out

What about Graham Hill then? He won two world championships and I think he's still the only driver ever to win the Triple Crown. Not disputing your choice, just thought he deserved a mention along wi the others.

The only thing I've watched is the final Doctor Who episode with Peter Capaldi, "Twice Upon a Time". Great fun, with a fantastic enactment of William Hartnell as the first Doctor, the momentary return of Jenna Coleman, an early Lethbridge-Stewart moment and, of course, the first appearance of Jodie Whittaker as the new Doctor.

And even Mr. Pastry got a mention. I've saved the recording to watch again. There were so many one-liners and in-jokes that only those of us who are of a certain age would get them all, and I'm sure I must have missed some. Even the German soldier was played by Toby Whithouse, who has written many Dr. Who episodes, and as for Doctor #1 threatening to smack Bill's bottom, echoing Hartnell's threat to Susan, his Granddaughter; hilarious! There were so many moments that were either funny, memorable or both that I could mention, but... Spoilers. I've watched Dr. Who since episode number one and this swansong for both Peter Capaldi and Steven Moffat is up there with the best of the best episodes ever. I'm sure I've just opened myself up to much mickey-taking, but I don't care in the least. The Doctor has gone from strength to strength and long may she continue.

I remember now that it was Moffat's last episode. A very fitting and excellent final one to have written, beautifully sewn into the fabric of The Doctor in a way that I really like. I find myself looking forward to what Whittaker will do with her

Frankie Boyle's 2017 New World Order Fri. 29/12/17
For any fans of Frankie Boyle, amongst whom I count myself, he's on from 22:00 - 22:45 tonight on BBC2. If the series it's following on from is anything to go by Trump (and most politicians probably) should be in for a real thrashing.
