I created this thread so we can hopefully share the good things coming up in advance. Now that we have On Demand, it's likely that most things will still be available after the event. So please go ahead and share what you've seen so far and what you are looking forward to.
My my favourite so far (and it probably won't be beaten) is the Christmas episode of The Undateables. Truly heart-warming.

I'm not interested in any Christmas specials. The only thing would be the annual news reviews.
I'll probably watch The Great Escape when it inevitably comes on, but I don't really watch live broadcasting or channel hop, I choose what I record carefully.

I’m sure wifey will go mad recording things that we’ll never watch.

Im just baffled by the Recording thing, I purposely bought Smart TV's so i could scarp the Sky Box & VHS machine.. I assume people are the same?

Nope, the Sky HD box does a great job time-shifting things for me. It downloads, too, so I don't care whether the content is broadcast or downloaded.

Because the few programs I really like are almost all on Sky channels.

Not sure if this is appropriate for this thread but the British version of the old sitcom The Office they have a in the first or second season they have a Christmas episode it's good enough that I'm considering we watch it every Christmas the American version is crap as usual but that UK Christmas episode of The Office is a feel good.

I've avoided The Undateables. Time to have a peek
Very little else. Got bored with Vanished by the lake which the boss watched in Walter/C4

If really enjoyed a TOTP Christmas special in the wee hours. It had all the usual suspects on and it was all the better for it.

I am currently thoroughly enjoying watching, and listening to, A Hard Day's Night and playing "spot the (uncredited) faces" ...such as Derek Nimmo in a non-speaking part as a magician, a very young Lionel Blair as, not surprisingly, a dancer and Pattie Boyd as a schoolgirl when it was 'normal' to fancy sexy schoolgirls (played by 20-year olds.)

I haven't watched anything on TV since Saturday night. It's great! I'm going to declare not watching TV as my guilty pleasure, I absolutely love it EDIT: I did however watch the Williams documentary (Netflix) with my mate on Christmas eve, does that count?
