A very nice lady gave me a set of these after I helped her out with something.
I haven't had a decent set of cans in a long time
These are really something, sound absolutely lovely running off the f5 amp.
No headphone amp needed.
Anyone got any idea where I might get some new ear pads for them? They are abit flakey

You should find a set but dont have to be AT.. After several attempts at replacements i got a pair of Beyer Dynamic 'DT-770 Velour earpads to fit my AKG 'K240/2' Headphones. Loads better than the originals imho..

They are abit flakey Hi Ant, We used AT cans with our ENG camera rigs in my storage unit I have loads of pads for the ones we used as I bought in about 20 sets, which I got from their spares dept. If they don’t have them, post a pic and I’ll see if ours will fit. |

these are they  Audio technica ath 7 headphones by anthony cresswell, on Flickr i fired an email across to AT to see if they could get any replacements and predictably they don't have originals any more. The dimensions of the originals are 80mm round outer, 30mm inner, they are give or take 10mm thick although they may have been thicker when new cheers ant |

Thanks for looking for me, AT have these dimensions from my email and are going to see if thet have anything suitable in stock
I keep checking the usual places to see if anything of similar dimensions pops up

What is the pad overall diameter & the inner cut out diameter?

The od is 80mm, id is 30mm

Aye. I have a pair. Got them quite some time ago and also really like them. Slight channel imbalance though with discharging driver.

Ok my AKG are 80mm dia if that helps.. Get some velour pads..Best thing i did. No more sweaty head bollox
