Heard of Kemp. Don't know how well their kit works. Coherent mains cables will take some beating even for a lot more money

I heard the mains distribution block and that works well. If you get this make sure you get it on sale or return

I have a Kemp plug-in filter which works well. Thanks for the note. The price is within my budget. Unfortunately I have no way to audition it before making the purchase.

Worth a PM to Tony, Fluxed in time. See what he says. He makes and sells the Coherent but will give you a straight answer

Why dont you just make your own power kord! Is a name with the associated price tag that important? You can buy everything to make a fancy looking Mains Kord. You can employ all the audio Crap into building it if you wish for beer money. I wish people would stop wasting money that you could pay your bills with or buy more music or as people seem to have too much money surplus give to charity or help someone out that wont have a warm home at Christmas. Around £25 per metre

Being a cheapskate I'm a fan of cheap. Nothing I am aware of gets any where near the Coherent. I'm sure MCRUs Ultimates will also be well ahead of home made

You can't buy Coherent cable raw (Tony braids it himself) and it's the best power cable I've ever tried.
As for the Kemp, it's very good but the best strategy for plug-in filters is to use various different brands and distribute them around the house. As a group, they do much more than a single one.

Around £25 per metreHaha...need not to be that excited. Almost all of my power cords and interconnects are "brand-less" and local made. Per meter price is cheaper than 25 pound you said. And they do a decent job so far. But we all do seek for better and from time to time change "taste", right? Actually, the Kemp's power cords I am asking for opinion aren't that expensive when excluding the mains and IEC adapters.

Not used any plug-in filters before. Sounds not that complicated. haha. Your high praise on Coherent cables raises my interest a lot. Will really think about that. Thanks
